There are still quite a few that stop in here, just don't post as much.

I check in daily, you never know what is going on around town.

I'm one of the few still not on fb. I love this site and hope it stays a long time. Don't want to join fb. Got enough social media as it is lol

I hear ya Lyle, I use it very sparingly. I have noticed that the forum slows down during the colder months.

Years of being here shows that it picks up this time of year til the end of summer as usual.

Amen!! Hi Lyle how are you doing that sprint 2 is going strong, I am all about the site it's just that I had a hiatus for a while dealing with a lot of - Please refrain from using foul or offensive language. - going on with family members so I'm back now and hopefully be around for the long run

Agreed. I was on a Rc hiatus as well for the last 5-7 years and when I left this site was booming. You couldn't leave your computer for 30 secs in fear of missing a reply or response. Their was always guys to help out with questions or concerns or anything else. What happened?? At least you get a response for stuff from the kijiji retards lol. Bought a lot off here back then and sold even more. Fast forward 5-7 years. I've been back on for 5 months now and I'm shocked. No reply's barely on anything from the sell/wanted categories as well as even the general question areas. Now this site - Please refrain from using foul or offensive language. - me off more than it helps so think it's time to throw in the towel and stop wasting my time. Unfortunately.

I think that life happened for a lot of people.
And, I think that it's a cyclical hobby.
They'll be another generation of people that get into it.
As well, other forums fragmented the user base.

I suspect that the market is a lot more limited for gear.
We've had local shops close, which is another indicator.

It is what is.
If there's no desire for the site, maybe this will be the last hosting renewal.

I agree, newer forums have taken a chunk of the user base. People do move on as life happens.

If members would take the time to search this forum, there is a serious amount of information available.

I still enjoy it, even though there is less posting it is a great site to use as you do not have to look at 75 new posts each day with 175 more responses.
