Post CastleLink connection on Mamba Monster
How do you tell which way the CastleLink pins go on the Mamba Monster receiver connector? There's no indication on the CastleLink card, the connector fits either way, and the instructions don't say, neither does anything on the CastleCreations website!!

I don't want to connect it backwards and fry it!

Can't believe they don't have complete instructions for this thing!!!!

It's quite simple unplug your esc from your rx, looking at the link the three pins plug into the esc wires. On the link you should have three symbols - + and an other, match up the black wire with the - sign plug other end into usb cable and tweak your esc.

Thanks for the quick reply.

I understand how it connects, just not which way. The colors of the ESC wires are brown, red, orange. Do you know for sure which way it connects?

Quite shocking that they wouldn't label the castlink or give instructions as to which way it connects!

Brown is black. Red is red. Orange is white.

Black/brown is the negative, red is positive power and the white/orange is your signal wire.

Cool. Thanks for that info.

Again, very lame that they can't include this simple information in their literature or on their website.

Appreciate the help! :D

you cant fry it, if you hook it up backwards, it just wont complete the circuit, so you just switch it around
